Natural Step
Natural Step is a global network of organizations from around that have come together to represent sustainability in the business, home, and communities. Their mission is think of humanity’s relationship with the world as a part of the whole system which works interdependently and functions as a complete and complex entity. Recognizing how human activity has impacted the system and the future consequences of unsustainable action is an important step to reverse the damaging nature of resource depletion and environmental degradation. To combat the issues and create a more reciprocal society with the environment, the Natural Step community utilizes 4 core principals or conditions for sustainability as the basis for achieving homeostasis in the system. In order to make these principals more understandable, we have reworded the conditions of Natural Step to make the ideas of sustainability accessible to everyone.
